Today was Open Graph display day.
Put the cursor on an item. If it's a linkblog post created in WordLand by you, we can and do offer a way to open the thing you linked to.
It's so specific. Probably need to invent a source namespace element for a linkblogLink.
Something like <source:linkblogLink> .
The dialog is very beautiful. There was lots of excellent prior art for this, all the twitter-like systems work with OG Metadata.
Not sure what's next, but I have a long todo list of interesting features still to be done.
Note to self: Now that the airplane icon is all the way to the right, the eye icon should be to its left. Pieces starting to fit together in new ways.
BTW, I figured out how to do the fancy paste-to-link feature JEHerve asked for. I'll do it in Markdown mode. It's perfect. I need the feature desperately because when I'm editing on my iPad, there's no way to do the fancy footwork needed to link something up. So I've resorted to using Markdown mode, and it works a lot better. Now if I add this feature links will be orders of magnitudes easier.
Another item for the todo. Start scripting the demo for next Thursday.
An encoding problem. Try typing at-less-than in your text to escape some html text. Save and reload and it'll be reduced to a left angle bracket. Do it again and it'll be gone. I want to be able to use this for writing about code.
