Good evening. I worked on staging today. It takes a few seconds to boot up WordLand. I hope to get that down significantly, but no matter what you want things to happen in the right order so it feels faster, you're not left waiting around for the most important thing. And what that is depends on how you got here.

WordLand remembers the last draft you had open. So when you open WordLand you want to see the draft first, because it loads more quickly than the timeline. And it will be visible in front of the timeline, so the timeline appears to fill in behind it. It's good to know it's there so you have an idea where this doc fits in, but your attention goes first to the doc, which can quickly be dismissed, and by the time you do that the timeline should be fully loaded.

That's why I like to put extra time into the mixing of the features of the product, so I get a chance to do the staging carefully and try out ideas, see what works. 

PS: Now I'm calling it WordLand Plus, last week it was Radio WordLand. What will it be next week? 🙂
