Truth be told the Knicks fired coach Tom Thibodeau because he's not very pretty. He's overweight, and needs to get a little sun, and maybe wear a hat or wear a toupee or get a freaking haircut or something. 

He's not exactly eye candy. And in basketball unlike other sports, the coach is always very visible on the sidelines. 

Also Knicks fans like complaining about the owner James Dolan. I think all fans like to complain about the owner, but especially Knicks fans. And Dolan, knowing this, has assured a bunch more hate coming his way, thus happy fans. 😄
